Quality and durability are the primary differences. Tweezerman and others make their tweezers in countries like Pakistan, India, and China, where the raw materials are of varying levels of quality. All Mark V Tweezers are made in Switzerland, using the highest level of surgical grade stainless steel. Mark V's steel is actually imported from Sweden because we are interested in using only the best raw materials. Tweezerman used to make all their tweezers in Switzerland, like us. This is no longer the case. Mark V does not believe in scrimping on quality. We would rather pay much more and make less per tweezer to sell the best, and that is what we do. We wouldn't say we sold the best unless it was true.

Although all Mark V tweezers are great, the Mark V Diamond Tip Tweezers are the most notable because of the enhanced tips. Utilizing a special process, we coat the interior part of the tweezer tips with actual diamond dust to enhance the gripping ability of the tweezers. Think of it, a gritty surface pulling on a hair, a simple yet highly effective concept – and it works. Although the diamond tip brow tweezers are more expensive they have been our best selling tweezers since they were introduced 7 years ago.

For brows, it is generally accepted in the industry that slanted tip tweezers work the best. This is probably because of the way most people hold the tweezers, the angle of the slanted tips meeting the skin is most comfortable for the majority of people. Select the Mark V Diamond Tip Tweezer or any of the Mark V Brow Shaping Tweezers. In the case of ingrown hairs and splinters, any needle-like tweezer is preferred. It becomes a matter of personal preference among the choices of Mark V Pro Splinter, Mark V Splinter +, and Mark V Mini Splinter.
